Hows everyone doing?

I don't have a ticker yet...I need to get on the ball. But I was banded on the 28th and I was just checking in to see how all you were doing. I haven't needed a fill yet. The doctor said I could cancel my april appointment if I still felt like I didn't need a fill. That is in two weeks and I am still feeling pretty good. As of today I am down 31 pounds! Only 11 pounds away from 199. I am just so excited. I was worried this wouldn't work and everyone would know I had the lap band and I was failing at it but so far so good!

not doing so great. banded Jan 16th and only down 30lbs. I am not eating anywhere near what I was eating, and I am drinking the Water and following the rules....I have had 4 fills already and I have 5ccs in my band. I lost 5lbs between my 3rd and 4th fill, which is awesome, but I thought the weight would be coming off faster than this. I cant eat breads or pastas, so I am not stuffing my face with carbs.

I just don't understand why I am so far behind most people who were banded at the same time I was. I am getting very discouraged.

Tara, you're doing great! Some of us just lose slower. I'm a slow loser myself. I've been bouncing the same 2 pounds for the last month. It's frustrating. I know I need a fill but unfortunately my doctor doesn't do them but 6 weeks apart. So, I've only had 2 fills so far. I get my 3rd next week. Can't wait! I can still eat bread and Pasta =(

Don't worry, this is not a race. We will all get there eventually. Are you exercising?

I only go to the gym 3 times a week. I know I should be doing more, but by the time I get home from work I am so dead tired.
