KC North Support

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has started a support group for us northlanders. I have seen that there has been interest but have not seen anything posted.

I have not been banned yet but will be sometime in May. Dr. Hoehn will be doing the surgery.

I would love to hear from others who have had the surgery and who are going to be having the surgery soon.

I'm considering getting it done. I will have to self-pay though. In this economy I'm worried about the total cost.

I've looked into Dr. Malley. He does have a support group that meets once a month on Saturday's. It's free and open to everyone. It's not a northland support group, but you can always network to meet people from the northland.

I live in KC North and could really use a support group.

It's been a while since this post was started, but I wanted to let you know that there is now a support group in the North Kansas City area. It's open to anyone who has had lapband surgery. It is held the 3rd Thursday of the month from 5 to 6 pm at the Weight Loss Surgical Center, 8548 Ambassador Dr. Kansas City.
