First Fill On MONDAY!!!!

And I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!

UGH!

I'm so sick of the pureed diet, it's not even funny. But I have lost 30 pounds since the surgery. This is based on the weight taken on my home scale. I don't know what the doctor's scale will say, but I can tell I've lost some weight. I can see it in my face, and tell when I bend down to tie my shoes. (I don't get winded and feel like I'm going to faint! Yay me!!!:smile2:)

I can't WAIT to actually CHEW SOMETHING!!!

Hahaha...yeah it's awesome to advance the diet. Beware, though.....my doc has all his patients do liquids the 1st 24 hours after a fill, then slowly advance the diet. 30 pounds is fantastic. Keep up the good work!

And my doctor's orders are liquids for 48 hours after a fill. Everyone is different. Hang in there and congrats on your weight loss!

Your doctor has you on pureed food until your first fill? Wow! I didn't get my first fill for 8 weeks! That would have been agony, that is for sure. I got to eat regular food after 2-3 weeks.

I also get my first fill on Monday but I was banded on Feb 4th. My doc says 2 days of liquids and then a few days to a few weeks of soft foods after a fill. I can't wait so the weight loss can pick up again. I lost 23 the first month and only 4 this month. Good luck to everyone!
