Mine really aren't that bad. At this stage, I am thinking the port scar will probably never completely heal although it is flat and lighter but the others are barely visible and look like freckles The port scar is about 1 1/2 inch straight purple line above my belly button. I can say that scar looks beautiful compared to the 87 pounds of fat I was carrying around though!

My roomie was banded in March and her scars don't look bad at all! Of course, keeping them clean and dry in the beginning helps, and then you can always apply Mederma after they heal. I'm a clutz and Mederma always works for my other scars. Plus I'm taking Biotin (a supplement) which is supposed to be good for your hair and skin. Anything that can help, I'm tryin!

oh good idea about biotin! and I hadn't thought about mederma either. I am not that worried about the scars as I am only *that* naked in front of my husband lol

the only reason i'm kinda of worried about scars ...is because i'm 18 and i wanna hopefully become a plus size model..and scars will be a problem ...but hey if i am a real good model threes always real good make-up:thumbup:
