shoulder pain on an EMPTY stomach?????

I am having the shoulder nerve pain when my stomach is empty not full. Before my last fill it was normal if I over ate I got it. Now it happens if my stomach is empty and also it likes to happen at the same time in the afternoon, around 2:00 and I ate my lunch at 12:30 so I know I am not to full.

Also I think I am a little tight not to bad but could this be a reason for the shoulder pain on an empty stomach.

Thanks for you help,

Rae

I got it for approx 1 ½ months constant right after the surgery its just off and on now. I was told it is gas escaping out up to that area I don't seem to have it as bad now that I take antacids but sometimes even that won't help.

i had that up until about 1 month out. asked the dr about it and he also told me it was just gas left over. it went away after time and everything was fine. i used gas x strips and walked alot to help it out.

just to make sure i would call the dr's office and let them know what is going on. thats what they are there for.

The ONLY thing that worked for my gas pain was Maalox with the ingredient simethicone (have to look specifically for that). I tried everything else - and I mean everything - before I heard of simethicone. I took one dose of that Maalox and have never had shoulder pain since.

I get the samething and I find it really hard to believe it is gas leftover when I am 7mo out from my surgery. I also am a little tighter than I was which is a good thing, but I get a awfull pain in my sholder the same time everyday!
