I purchased a pill crusher and I don't really like it. It does not crush them well. Does anyone had any luck? There are so many out there that I have no idea which one to choose.

I was banded 3 days ago and yes i have been needing to crush pills too, lol. My hubby just said to say that "crushing the pills beteween two tablespoons works well." He has been crushing mine that way and it works. Doesn't make the taste any better though, lol.

Check with your doc, but my doc said that I just have to have my pills be the size of a Tylenol or smaller. So, usually, unless they are horse pills, I just cut them in half so I can just swallow them.

I'm 5 days out with the same problem. I bought a pill crusher that has a screw cap, you drop the pill in the little cup then just screw the top on tight and it's crushed. It takes a lot of arm strength though, so half the time I just smash it with the blunt end of a butter knife while in the little cup.

They have mortar and pestles in the variety stores useful to grind herbs and spices, but also good for pulverizing pills. They work really well.
