  1. I'm doing really well too. Amazed at how small the surgical incisions are. They have all healed well, bit of bruising around port site, that's all. I do still feel very tired though, but that might be the reduced diet. I don't feel as much restriction as I thought I would but I suppose there's no fill in the band yet. I do feel some though - it's weird, I feel it a couple of minutes after eating, so have really reign in my usual speed eating! How about you?
  2. Another March 13 person here! Doing ok, still a little sore. Have been eating pureed fruit, custard, white fish in sauce, stuff like that. I have been able to eat more than I thought I would; sometimes I feel really hungry but most of the time am not interested due to weird feeling in chest. TMI - definitely badly constipated, have taken laxative stuff today to try to help.:lunch:
  3. I feel pretty good. A bit sore still, but getting better each day. I am so delighted I went ahead with it - my problem has not been losing weight - I've always managed to do that, but it piles back on easily! I have around 106lbs to lose to get back to a normal BMI, Just hope the band will help me stay there!
  4. I second the pestle and mortar - gets pills very finely grounded.
  5. Just wanted to say hello everyone I found this site the night before my surgery and it was a great comfort because I was feeling so nervous. Have been reading it ever since.
