Almost at goal and can't exercise!

I'm only 300 grams from 'goal', and last week hurt my adductor muscle (inner thigh) and have been told by my family dr to rest and not exercise for at least 2 weeks!

I can't believe how frustrated I'm feeling, knowing that goal is just one measly lb away and I CAN'T EXERCISE!

Just a vent. Can't do anything about it. Just peeved.

Hang in there! My sister was about to break the 200 pound mark and hurt her knee and was in a brace for 6 weeks. She gained 5 pounds.....but as soon as she got the clear- she's back at the gym and has already lost the 5.

Okay, for the next couple of weeks, take the focus OFF of your exercise (or inability to exercise) and focus on taking care of other things. You're having a body life in 22 days?! That will more than take care of the last pound!! You are THERE! Don't sweat that last pound! You've done an awesome job and you really should be proud of yourself!

Thanks everyone. I guess for me, I believed that not being able to exercise meant that I'd stop losing. But I haven't - I hit goal this morning. It was a lot more anti-climatic than I thought it would be actually!

Thanks lapbandtalker!

It was a real anti-climax actually! Lol! And even though I haven't been exercising due to my injury, I'm still losing, so I don't think my body's quite done yet.
