Help from the Lap Band Vets

Hello Everyone,

I was banded April 18, 2008. I have lost over 60lbs so far. I haven't lost anything this past month though. I go for my last fill tomorrow. I guess after that it's is truly up to me to get the rest of this weight off. I still have 60lbs to go and I hope to be done by the end of summer. For those of you who only have like one more fill, are already fully filled or have already gone through this, are you still losing weight? What happens if you plateau and your band is already full? Any advise?

I have the smaller lap band, and I'm only at 2.5 out of a highest possible 4.0. I cannot imagine having to lose alot without getting the benefit of more fills. Is it possible that the surgeon used a band on you that is too big?

I had a couple of plateaus along the way. Switching up foods and changing intensity and frequency of exercise seems to help some.

I wish you well.

I love my band.
