Is it possible

A couple of weeks ago I took a bad fall on the ice and landed on my back and side. My ribs hurt terribly as well as my stomach area was very sore. I think I pulled on where my lap band is. I am finding now after my fall my restriction has changed. Is it possible that a fall could move my band or change the restriction? What are your thoughts?

I am really not sure that a fall could mover your band, but I do think that you need to get checked. Call your surgeon and get in asap. I know I have had issues where if I hold something really heavy or lift things I get a pulling sensation where my port is. My surgeon said not to worry that it is just scar tissue. As far as your pain maybe you pulled some scar tissue. As far as the restriction you should definitely get seen.

Good luck and I hope you feel better and get your answers.

I got into a car accident and my band got SUPER tight. Don't know if it was the stress, or what. The upper GI came out FINE, but it definitely got crazy tight. And unfill fixed it for me.
