I had lap band on nov. 5th 2008. I've lost 20 pounds, and that was in the first 6 weeks. I've been gaining weight the last few weeks. I'm hungry. I've had two fills totaling 2 cc. Is this normal, do I need to call my doc. I see him again in Feb. Help

If you are not feeling any restriction, you may gain some weight. I suggest until you have restriction, you count your calories and exercise to continue to lose weight. Don't rely on your band until you are feeling effects of restriction.

With each of my three fills I have found it took about a week to ten days to feel the restriction really take hold. I hope it makes itself known for you soon. In the meantime kgloverii sounds like she has good advice.

My doctors rule is to wait 7 days, if I still do not have enough restriction then go back for another fill. It could take four or more before you really start feeling it.
