Chewing Gum

I just started my 2 week pre-op liquid diet.

Major headaches and this is only day 2.

My question is can I chew sugar-free gum?

I like to chew gum and forgot to ask Doctor

Peace

I do and it hasn't bothered me. But as with anything else, consult you Dr.

Thank you health4life for your input. Talked with doc today and he said "no problem chewing now" after surgery you suck in air and it can give you an uncomfortable feeling.

Later, shouldn't be a problem.

Blessings
