Approval Received!!!

I just received the news that my insurance approved my surgery. I will be banded Jan 27th. Yeah!!! I was really worried because I gained weight over the holidays (7lbs). My dietician said that I could have jepordized everything but I guess it was okay.

Great, I am the 27th also. I am so excited about getting this done. I love this site, too. It has really been helpful being able to talk with other like us. Please keep in contact with me so we can talk about the up's and down's,

So how long is you preop diet. I just have to do know fried food, sugars, sodas, Pasta, potatos, rice, white breads.

I have started with Protein shakes already so I can maybe drop a few pounds.

Carolina Mom, I had 6 months of pre-op dietician appointments, a psych eval, a sleep study,(I have sleep apnea and diabetes). My pro-op diet will be 5 days long and consists of 6 8 oz protien drinks a day plus all the sugar free caffiene free fluids I can stand. YUM!!!

We should keep in touch.
