Muddy Buddy anyone?

Ok folks I'm doing this:2009 Muddy Buddy Ride & Run in Richmond Va May 3rd, 2009.

I heard about it on the boards here last year and could hardly wait for the next one near me. I live in New York so I will be traveling south to attend.

Anyone else going to give it a try???

Do you have any tips?

Definitely work on trail running and mountain biking. If you have a mountain bike trail that has a lot of hills that is the best place to train. The obstacles we had last year were a 7 foot climbing wall, balance beam, wood a frame that we had to go over and under the beams and a huge blow up slide that you had to climb up the rope ladder to get to. SO you need enough upper body strength to do those. The person who starts running will end up running 3 legs and biking 2, and the person who starts biking vice versa.
