Post-Op Reporting in!

Okay, it's worth it. I can say that now. After an overnight stay and enough gas to light a fireplace, I'm a happy bandster.

I'm still on liquids, and after one experience tasting a Protein shake, I won't cheat again. That, I promise you. The discomfort is not worth it. Trust me on that one.

I'm not hungry at all. Not one bit. My tummy rumbles frequently, but I think that's gas. I still putt around, if you get my drift.

Surprisingly, I have very little pain. liquid Tylenol takes care of it very well. Okay, I'm ready for another nap. Back to bed. LOL!

I was banded on the 12th and everything has been going well so far. I have had the gas pains that everyone is talking about and I just wanted you guys to know that it is great to have people to share your experiences with. I have read all of your posts in this thread and I can't wait to read more. It sounds like all of you are doing great!!

Good luck!!:(

Hey, How do you get your protein in if you can use the shakes? My doctor told me 60 protein, 60 water, and 60 minutes of exercise. But it is amazing how much each one is. I am down for the 27.

Wow it is amazing how different each one is. My protein is in 1/2 can of pure protein (35mg protein) shake sipped through out the day. I can also get in egg whites too. My exercise is not time limited. But limited with what I can do. I can only walk.
