Eating refried beans on full liquid diet?

I am going to a party tonight, and would really like to eat something with some flavor. I think I go to mushies phase on Tuesday, and have done well with oatmeal, creamed soups, cottage cheese, and yogurt. Do you think it is save to grab some pintos and cheese from Taco Bell to munch on while at the party?

My surgeon told me that full liquids was anything you could suck through a straw. So I did shakes, liquid yogurt smoothies, cream soups, runny cream of wheat, etc. Refried beans was on my list of mushies along with cottage cheese.

You may want to call a local Mexican Restaurant (their's taste better anyway) - and get them for pickup - they are still really cheap (okay I like cheap) and tend to be runnier - you won't have the bean clumps like you do with Taco Bell. Just be careful :-)

This sound so good I have been craving a bean burrito from Taco Johns and I had visions of no onions or sauce and tossing the shell away and just eating the beans and cheese. It has been 11 days since my surgery.
