Club Soda ?? Off topic

My brother is dating a new girl and everytime we eat out she orders some type of iced tea and a club soda. I haven't got up the nerve to ask her why yet, so I thought I would ask all of you if you know of any reason she would have to have a club soda with every meal? Just curious... :)

I know someone who drinks it with meals to make her feel full faster. (the gas and all) Just a thought.

Small correction:

Club soda may be identical to plain carbonated Water or it may contain a small amount of table salt, sodium citrate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, potassium citrate, potassium sulfate, or disodium phosphate, depending on the bottle

Tonic water (or Indian tonic water) is a carbonated soft drink flavoured with quinine, which gives it a distinctively bitter taste.
