Anyone ever have to use this? I have revision surgery scheduled for Thursday AM, supposed to start taking Osmoprep Wednesday morning... hoping I am not in the bathroom all day. Haven't ate food in over a week so I am hoping that I will be ok to at least finish the day out at work. *sigh*

So how were your experiences with the osmoprep? I have to work Wednesday and also start taking it that morning for surgery on Thursday morning...

I did the same thing, but don't worry. You will be able to eat everything you can now just in smaller portions.

Hi Bamablondie, I was wondering if you have seen many cases of Mirena having to be surgically removed. I know I read someone had a problem on here, I am just wondering how often it does happen. I have a consult next week to get Mirena and am curious.

Great! I was wondering about this myself... I was on the shot for a while and hated it!

The clinic will pick you up, just let them know when and where. And please please make sure you have after care set up. This is my problem now.

I am here with you all. Surgery in October 2007 at 300#, lost about 60#, had to have an unfill, fell off the wagon, and now here I am gained almost 30# back. UGH. Got my elliptical for Christmas and ready to start a detox to get all this crap out of my body and start over. New year new start!

My brother is dating a new girl and everytime we eat out she orders some type of iced tea and a club soda. I haven't got up the nerve to ask her why yet, so I thought I would ask all of you if you know of any reason she would have to have a club soda with every meal? Just curious...

I went to Dr. Aceves in Mexicali for my last fill and I was very pleased. The drive isn't as far as TJ, you get flouro (you dont get that with fill centers - at least in this area), and it was cheaper. I would still be interested in a doctor in the Phoenix area that would do them. I can't always make the trips to Mexicali.

Just found this thread tonight. I am here with you all. Have had weight problems all my life. If I am bored I eat, if I am happy I eat, if I am sad I eat... I began Curves and WW in 2006 at 337#, in September 2007 went to urgent care having a panic attack, they put on my paperwork that I was morbidly obese. Right then I decided I needed more help. Had the lap band in October 2007 at 300#. I have done good on and off. Recently had to have an unfill because I had something stuck in my band so I don't have much restriction now. I am hovering around 250#, have been for the past 6 months. I was working out... now not so much. I am disappointed in myself. I get bored with diets and fall back into eating crap. So I am admitting that I am powerless to food, like I told my friend if it will slide through that band I'm going to do it! *sigh*:thumbup:

I had horrible reflux last week and vomitting, had 6 out of the 8 ccs removed from my band on Thursday. Have been fine since, feel much better. I am wondering about this also. I won't get to have xray or talk to a doctor until Saturday.

This just started happening to me, I havent had a fill in months so I am not sure what it is. I have been taking an acid reducer which seems to help. The other night I woke at 12 and threw up water that I had drank hours before. :smile:

I am officially of depo! I started loestrin 24 fe or something like that last week. Feel much better already! My hunger has already subsided! So glad I am done with it, it was great when I was younger but forget it now!

you are not alone! i do it too. i just threw away some left overs that have been in the fridge all week. sometimes i eat them or sometimes my son does, but most of the time they go to waste. i also agree kids meals are usually junk and nothing that i want. i also realized i waste money when i buy clothes. i hate trying on clothes at the store and i keep buying clothes that are too big! ugh

I still use the EAS premixed shakes. I usually buy a case of chocolate fudge from Sams. 110 calories, 3g fat, 2 carbs, 17g protien! You can get a 4 pack at Walmart or Target. They have other flavors too. Strawberries and creme, vanilla. I like them all!

Ok update! So Sunday I wore a skort. It was a skirt but it wasn't! Didn't feel too bad and no one said or looked at me crazy so today I pulled out the skirt that I have had sitting there for over a month. I tried it on a month ago for my bf and he liked it, today I wore it to work! And let me tell you it felt great in this 110 degree weather!!

So, I have been with my current company for over 7 years. While I for the most part like my job I need and want more out of life. I started at the bottom and have moved up the ladder. I think I am as far up the ladder as I am going to get. I have been in the transportation business for 10 years doing billing and accounting. I would like to venture into the medical field. So my question is how do I get my foot in the door? I was thinking of taking some medical billing/coding courses... any one done this or have any suggestions?

I use the viactiv multi chews. I couldn't stand the liquid or the orange chewables.

Boy am I glad my surgery is over with! If I was on here researching where to go I would be so confused and scared! Really does any doctor have a 100% success rate? Probably not and in many cases it is probably hard to prove it was the doctors fault. The band does not work for everyone, heck bypass doesn't work for everyone either. At least this is reversible!

I was ending mine when I had it done. When they told me to take off everything I said "EVERYTHING!" and explained the problem. They weren't worried about it, but I was so I used a tampon. I didn't even ask. Just did it. I lived!

I am not either right now! I can't wait for it to be out of my system! I used to love it. My doctor told me "you were younger then"... gee thanks! what are you using now? Yaz sounds good, but so do the 1 period every 3 months pills.
