My day has come!!

Hey everyone! I've finally got everything in order, and will be banded on Dec 30 eeek!

What is a list of things I should bring with me to the hospital to help make the surgery go smoothly. And any other advise would be AMAZING!

Welcome Unsure! This site is wonderful and has lots of tips and tricks. Take a look at PreOp threads and you'll find multiple suggestions for what to take to the hospital! For me, wear something ultra loose, bring socks, and don't freak out. You're taking an awesome step and should be proud of yourself.

I really didn't bring anything to the hospital other than the clothes on my back, cell phone, chapstick, ID card, and insurance card.

I would just plan ahead for when you come home from the hospital. Mkae sure you have plenty of fluids, liquid tylenol, broth, sf popcycles... stuff like that.

Good luck with your surgery.

Congrats and good luck!!! It will be here before you know it. It is also perfect timing for New Year's resolutions, lol.
