If cheetos are within reachable vicinity, they don't last long so I make sure they're out of reach (like at the store).

any chip type has to stay out of our house.

not so much a sweet tooth - but my constant craving for the last few months has been queso. can't get enough.

I'm a salsa girl myself. If I get the good stuff, I can just drink it down! I wasn't a huge fan of salsa until I moved to Texas and found out that only TexMex people can make it right.

Is this thread only about weight loss/Lap Band confessions? Cuz there was this one time at band camp...

well what did you do at band camp beth.?.

this is ALL confessions - see i let my doggie lick the ice pop before i gave to hubby. ... but food confessions should take place since this is a WLS site and well food's an issue no matter what!:frown:

donna - i became addicted to texmex after moving to TX too!

My hubby mourns the loss of TexMex too. Can't get anything here like it, as the people here are all pretty much Ecuadorians and such. Not EVEN the same.

Don't know if you've gotten the chance yet, luluc, but by FAR the best food I had was IN Mexico. Doesn't look anything like what you get in the states (duh), but wow... Puerto Vallerta has/had this place called Gaby's that was in the city somewhere, some little out-of-the-way place, and wowza. We couldn't speak Spanish, and they spoke little to no English, but we were able to get THE best meal. Fantastic!!

I have to confess that I have eaten 5 oatmeal cookies today. Not all at once, but still... Man I cannot bring those back into the house.:)

Yanno, for a non-cooker, I used to make killer oatmeal cookies. <erasing that from my memory so I won't crave>

im still really sick so the only stuff that tastes good to me is junk food...

im at work now and i feel terrible so im sure i will have to confess to cussing people out tonight that get on my nerves at work...

I'll also confess that I drug up an old friendship on FB with a former crush. W.T.H. was I thinking?!?

I was supposed to go on a 2 week full liquid pre-op diet and I lasted one day. I ate pork tacos, chips and salsa, ice cream and anything else I wanted. It didn't affect my surgery at all! I didn't gain any weight, but I didn't lose any before either!

Ooops!!!
