Of course, you can inject the fruit with alcohol, or soak the fruit in alcohol.....not that I would know about that at all.

That reminds me of my college days. **sigh** Good times... ;)

You've heard those heathens at work talk about it, right, tap?

Situation: My employer (as an organization, hereafter 'C') is bidding a staff member for a huge contract job. The person they are proposing is a friend (. The potential contractor (A) is a huge national organization with fab benefits, etc. Coincidentally, I know the HR person at A who will be doing the hiring. As part of my work for C, I follow-up on contract bids, etc. Yesterday I contacted C in my capacity as negotiator; discussed the 'fit' of B for the position, and daily rate etc. According to my contact, B is a potential contract hire but not the top candidate. OUt of the blue, the person says, I'm shocked you didn't apply as an employee. The job says your name all over it. Why the hell don't you apply?

Confession: I really want to apply. Better job, better benefits, better salary. BUT.....it just seems wrong; like I would be skewering my friend B for my gain. I hadn't even thought of the position when the organization was considering bidding on it.

ugh - that's a tough one. if you really want the job, talk to your friend first.

Do you think fedex or UPS would let you send that to TN?

SMS-you look great in your new picture. Also, I hate the hidden racism too. I deal with it a lot at work.

Tap-If you really want the job, talk to your friend about it. I completely understand how you feel about it though. That is so tough.

Missin' Sonic... Then again, it's probably best we don't have them. Never really liked the food (except the tater tots), but yeah, the drinks in the summer... I would get the orange ice cream slush with extra orange. Tasted just like a dreamsicle.

Also miss Jack In the Box's ultimate cheeseburger. Again, probably a good thing these days.
