I set myself a 10K goal!

Looking for inspiration to get exercising again, I had the brilliant idea of combining it what what I love most -- travel. Today I decided to run the Crescent City Classic 10K in New Orleans on Easter weekend. I already had a gift certificate for a few complimentary hotel nights, so this fits in nicely.

I have only done one 10K ever before, the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, and training for that years ago was also motivating. Here's to another successful experience!

Good luck TC. I am thinking about concentrating this winter on doing a 10k right off the bat next spring. Should be interesting.

Excellent Goal

I started running in June, and I am completely in love with it.

You can totally do this !

I've been toying with the idea of a 10K myself. I ran my first 5K in February and all year long, I've been saying 10K, 10K, 10K.

Please keep us posted. I love the idea of traveling to run too. I know others who've done that with marathons. It really does motivate you!

Good luck! I ran my first 5K in July and have decided that I am going to train this winter for a 10k. Started looking for one in my area last night.
