First Fill Finally

:thumbup:The Dr put in 4.2 cc in my band today, 3 months from my surgery date. The first time I went in for a fill, he said I was losing weight without one and he wanted to wait. I was comfortable with the weight loss so I didn't argue with him. I had lost 21 pounds since that visit and I was a little worried that he wouldn't do the fill again, but he didn't hesitate today. I hope this helps with my slow weight loss. (I really shouldn't complain because I have lost 51 pounds since June 29th.) Any way, I wanted to share with my fellow banders.

Congrats on your first fill! Of course, you've been doing fantastic without one!!! I've been marveling at how well you've done without a fill.

I get my 3rd fill tomorrow. I don't have any restriction and have never pb'd, or got food stuck, but my hunger almost completely disappeared for 10 days or so after each of my first 2 fills. For someone who's been hungry 24/7 since birth it's a strange & wonderful/powerful feeling.

Take it easy & keep going...you're a true inspiration!

Congrats Linda! Keep up the hard work and just imagine how much better you're going to feel next summer compared to this past one! :rolleyes2:
