size 18!!!

Major NSV time!

I had to get a pair of Khakis for my trip to NY this weekend. I was told "brown khakis" which don't really exsist... Anyway, I digress.

I tried on a pair of 22, thinking they might fit. Nope, too baggy. I tried on a pair of 20s! They were on the baggy side! I got a pair of 18s, and they fit!

I fit into a size 18 today!!!!! Okay, I didn't buy them because they were not pretty, but I could put them on! Oh my gawd, oh my gawd, oh my gawd!

A size 18! I haven't been able to squeeze my pretty little self into a size 18 since my baby was small!

Oh sure, my jeans aren't a size 20, but still!

It looks like I'll be bringing some clothes to the Las Vegas Bash after all!

OK - the aunt flo visit - and vowing not to give out your address is hysterical - I had to tell my hubby that one.

That is one of the ones I actually GOT. Most - I have no clue.

Congrats about the loss. I was able to get into some shortalls I hadn't worn in 2 summers - and they were big.

My husband even said I was smaller (you gotta understand we are self pay, and he was NONE to thrilled I just didn't do it (lose weight) the old fashioned way) - he didn't believe it would work.

Way to go Crystal.......you are doing great. I have not even thought of trying on new clothes to see what size I am now. Maybe I should. Any way GOOD GOING.

Ok after I read this to someone they just had to share in the excitement of your NSV. So here they are!!!

Oh By the way, WAHHHH HOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Parvathi,

For an explanation of all the freaking abbreviations they use on this site, check out the thread at:

It took me over a week to find this and prior to that my imagination ran away with itself trying to figure out what NSV was. DH was another one that I thought stood for D*** Head (which my wife occasionally refers to me with). And for the life of me I thought this Aunt Flo everybody was talking about was some pain-in-the-ass lady who lurked on this web site and then went visiting Lap-Banders uninvited and hung out there for a few days before moving on to somebody else. I vowed to not give out my address on this site for fear she'd be knocking on my door next!!

LOL - thanks heaps, Bobalooey! You're a funny man :)

Okay, so no only is my butt getting smaller, but so is the top half of me! Huzzah!

My big symposium for my Scholarship was this week, which is why I needed to buy new pants. (it was awsome, btw) The new public uniform consists of chinos (aka khakies) and a black long sleeve logo'd shirt. Because I was coming from Seattle, and not Pocatello, they had to bring me my new shirt. Greg handed me a 1X shirt. Not a 3X which is still the size my head says, but a freaking 1X. Freaking is right, because I had a momentary flash of panic because I just *knew* it wouldn't fit.

Yesterday I wore a shirt I havent' been able to wear since 2001.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! You are doing excellent!!! I have had similiar experiences of the "I just know this won't fit" anxiety and of course it does in deed fit.. Like another poster said "You Rock"!!!!!

YUP a big ole wet one.

Fantastic NSVs, Vines! And I love Penni's message -- sealed with a kiss, I'm sure.
