Hi everyone,

I am so excited I can barely stand it.....my surgery is scheduled for August 17 at Noon. My new life, my new beginning.

Thanks to everyone on this board....you all have given me such insight, support and love....

I got so excited that I booked a little 3 day trip to a huge waterpark in Wisconsin Dells (we go every summer, but I had planned not to go this summer due to my weight). I know my daughter will be so excited...she just loves to go...a real "Water bug". And now, I am excited, too. My sugeron says I can swim if my incisions are healed and they figure the incisions take from one to two weeks to heal so I should just make it.

It is so funny. Everytime someone posts "I have a date" I am thinking I am going to hear some great dating story.

I know I thought the same thing too when I first saw people posting "I have a date"!!! No, those days are wayyyyy over. I have been happily married for nearly 16 years.....
