frustrated/1st fill tomorrow

I'm 42 days out and had lost 15 lbs in 3weeks but am loosing and gaining the same 5 lbs since...no change in calories and maintaining exercise...what is this about? I've read many opinions about weight gain but if one is eating less than 1200 calories and exercising then one should lose wt. banded or not?!!! hope the fills make things more consistent and clear..puzzled right now..i am moving foward and just keeping with the program....come this far.:D Want to love the band:redface:

do you think maybe you need more calories? Perhaps you are burning so many that your body is going into starvation mode...just a thought..sometimes it can be a balancing act

Rosemary3,

I have felt as frustrated for the last 4 months. I have just had my 4th fill (5.5 cc's in my 10 cc band) and am just now beginning to feel that I am getting some help from the band. Its not an instantaneous thing, you have to get to your point where its tightened up enough for you. Hang in there, it is definitely worth having the band. You will see.
