The eastern part of the US is the most expensive. Mexico really isn't a bad option. $7K for a band.

There's a long thread here about Dr Kirshenbaum. He's in CO and I think charges under $10k.

I don't know of anyone on the east coast. That's probably going to be tough to find. I was researching when I was worried about my insurance.

Thanks for the info. I will look for that thread. As of now. Cigna will not pay, and I will have to pay 20 grand! At least that is 7 grand cheaper than another well known Doctor nearby...

C.) are offering gastric banding surgery at Noble hospital in Westfield Massachusetts. This includes all surgical fees and 1 year of fills. Dr. Haag was the first to do lap banding in western massachusetts as well as the the first to do Realize banding. They are both great doctors.
