Got a question about the port

My doc says he believes that I ultimately will be thin enough to need a smaller low profile port to be replaced. My question is can I request this smaller port to begin with. I truly only want one surgery.

My doctor went ahead and put in the low profile port during my operation. I didn't ask for it, he thought it would be best. It seems like it is a little hard to find the center of it during fills, but not that bad. I am glad that he did it though so I don't have to worry about it later.

Falcon.. Most doctors do not want to put the low profile port in to begin with because it is often times hard to find during a fill.. I would think maybe you ask your doctor if he will just put it in if that is what you really want..
