Than to save me at night even though I'm not hungry I have a sfree fudgepop or fruitbar sfree. I have found the lapband is not a FAST process -- slow and steady.

 I personally count calories and carbs as well as the Proteins.

Best wishes!

I absolutely agree with that! I only lost 7 lbs the first month--but now I'm 9 months out and 52 lbs down--i've lost 22% and am now officially overweight!!(29.8 BMI!!!)--that fits the 1-2 lbs per week--even with the couple of plateaus i have hit

Stop setting unrealistic goals for yourself...5 pounds in 2 weeks is a very good, very healthy weight lose. This is a journey that will last a really long time that will have its ups and downs...learn from both the positive and the negative.

And for GOD sakes....THROW OUT THAT scale, it is obviously drivng you crazy.

You should be celebrating not complaining. I applaude you on a great weight lose.

Yea to the above and I am 6 weeks out lost 15pds, also think u r still healing and your body will hold onto alot of water weight too!!! Expect that! After 2 months and u havent lost anything then worry!

Great Job 5 pounds in two weeks is good. My goel is 10 pounds a month. That is a really healthy weight loss. Keep up the "great" work. Melanie / California

So how many calories and carbs do you do at first? Or is something to ask the doc! Thanks for reply

not to exceed 1200 calories and 135 carbs

at least 105 gr of Protein and try to get 25 gr of Fiber

minimal 64 oz Water - goal is 96 oz

This is what "I" use -- but definetly ask your doctor or nutritionist. (let me know what they say!)
