Think Oprah has given up?

I've noticed lately that Oprah's weight seems to be climbing. She's not been a big proponent of WLS but maybe she should consider it? She's been struggling with weight for almost all of her entire TV career and it seems no matter how much she loses or what method she utilizes, her weight seems to creep back up again.

ewwwwwww! Trey gross.

Nope, Mac, not any meaner than her sitting and rolling her eyes on a show where teenagers were talking about their WLS stories.

Oh she makes me mad too. But I was talking about Kirstie Alley. You can't open a WL Center if you are a yo-yo dieter! She has no credibility.

That's how Dr. Phil being thrust on America was born.

She has more to answer for than just dissing WLS.

Heck, and here I thought taking the easy way was having a gazillion dollars and having a private chef making healthy, weight-conscious meals for you. :glare:

I think the easy way out is liposuction.

WLS is the hard way out. :smile2:

Dieting is the temporary way out. At least for 99.9% of the people.

:smile2:  :glare:

Yes, she DOES have more to answer for than just dissing WLS.

Oh god how I *LOATHE* Dr Phil.

Actually I have a real problem with anyone who tells me what to think, say or feel. I never read child rearing books, I wont follow what a nutritionist says, I dont have a personal trainer because I'm sceptical of their qualifcations and think I know more, I only *just* listen to my doctor, lol. i have a real problem with authority I think.

Thus anyone like Oprah who purports to speak for the masses, you can guarantee I'll hate them.

I'm with you on that too. Thank GOD I didn't read the Dr. Spock book I was given all those years ago when kiddo was born. The guy was a nut who helped create the mess we have now with kids.

Agree, agree, and agree.

Paid "mouthpiece" or not, I still like Carnie. At least she's not one of those fanatical DS'ers....."I pooped 12 lbs and it looked like Mt Rushmore. Is this normal"

OMG I almost choked on my yogurt. LMAO

Hey congrats on the surprise band baby!!

Thanks! We're getting pretty excited. :huh2:
