oh no 5 hours!

I just wokr up I have to be there in 4 hours to be banded and I woke up with a stuffy nose!!!!!!!!!! will they still do it I'm afraid of not bieng able to breath while i'm under anastesia........has anyone had a stuffy nose when they went?

i think you should be okay. i was a little stuffy the week before mine. i used saline a lot. also if you can take a hot shower that might help open you up. they took a urine sample the morning of my surgery so if you have a temp or had an infection they will find it. you will be fine. you will be so glad you got this done and today will be over before you know it. i was scared to death but the surgery was nothing. let me know how you are feeling. i will pray for you right now. :lol:

you should have a tube for breathing anyway, so your nose will be out of the question. good luck, i had my band on tuesday and am feeling much better, still a little sore. god be with you. tara.:lol:

I too had a cold the day I was banded. I did everything I could to get rid of it to no resolve. But I was fine. Just did alot more snoring so they monitored my breathing afterwards.
