I haven't tried the Bariatric Advantage, but the Celebrate are pretty good. My surgeon prefers the Celebrate vitamins. They gave us a sample of the multivitamin and the calcium at my pre-op visit, and they were both good.

Haven't heard of Celebrate. My dietician recommends Bariatric Advantage or Pioneer. I take Centrum chewable (they come in silver too) and for Calcium I use Twin Labs Calcium Citrate with Magnesium and D (citrate absorbs better than carbonate, and D3 or cholecalciferol is the best form of D to take), available at $7.67 for 60 wafers (4 a day dose) plus $4.99 shipping for any size order at vitacost.com. I order about 4 or 5 bottles to squeeze the shipping cost. I paid $17.99 for it in a Healthy Options store, so I thought it was Christmas when I found this online site. My dietician poo-poo's Centrum but my followup bloodwork showed no deficiencies, and it is less expensive than some. I got it at Target for about $12 for 60 (one a day).

So many different brands of vitamins. I know taste is a huge factor. But I saw a comparison sheets of price and nutritional value that was emailed to me. Take a look and judge for yourself. its from Bariatric Advantage, building blocks, celebrate its a comparison sheets of all of them. Its always smart that we all do our research. Im new here and since havent posted quite a bit just wanted to share. Ill try to post it Im having Issues right now. but if you want I can email it to you.

I have Bariatric Advantage watermelon chewables. DISGUSTING!!! I gag and get goose pimples every time I chew one. I hate to throw them away as they were expensive, but of course I had to go and buy the large bottle...... Damn....... My doctor gave them the stamp of approval, and they ARE a good vitamin, but I can't get past the chalky taste. I'll do a Flintstones vitamin any day..... Haven't tried Centrum. They are next on my list if I EVER finish the Bariatric Advantage.

Im so sorry to hear that, I know they have another flavor which I have tried, call and ask for a free sample they should give to you. I just heard horror stories from flintstones and centrums on how some patients tend to have defficiencies since it was not made for the bariatric patient.
