September 29, 200817 yr Everyone's "sweet spot" is different...it's when a person actually feels restriction. It may happen after the first, second, third and even maybe the 4th fill. Once a person feels restriction they are unabel to eat nearly the amount of food pre-op; and must begin to learn how to eat in a whole new way. Personally, I recently had my third fill and finally have restriction. I hope this helps you.
September 29, 200817 yr I also after six months finally felt my "SWEET SPOT" I didn't understand it myself till four days ago. I said okay that is what they are talking about. I eat three small meals now "FINALLY" it's a wonderful feeling when you feel your restrictions. It's worth the wait!
September 29, 200817 yr I've had 2 fills now and I get a third on Wednesday. It'll be 2 weeks this Wedn. since my last fill and I have lost 5.5 pounds. The first time between fill number 1 and 2 I lost 5. I think that's great. They were really impressed with my progress the last time. :cool2:
September 29, 200817 yr I have felt restriction and thrown up food because too much restriction - do you mean sweet spot is when it stays consistent because mine changes almost daily - some days I can eat anything I want (if I would let myself) and some days can't swallow anything but liquids - how do I know when I have hit the right amount of fill in my band. It is driving me nuts.
I read where everyone says they found their sweet spot can someone explain?
