Talk about your crummy days...

Thursday when I saw my doctor he suspected that I might have a hernia at the spot where the tubing comes through the muscle, he sent me for a CT scan and said to get it done as soon as I could. I called the place right away and took their next available spot, 4:00 friday afternoon.

Friday I had half a Breakfast sandwich and 8 ounces of Water at 7:45 then had to have nothing after that, including water, to prepare for this test. At 2:00 I had an hour and a half to drink two big containers of barium. By the time I finished I felt like I was full up to my throat and I was so bloated I thought I'd explode. When I got to the place, they said they hadn't heard back on preauthorization from my insurance, so I had to reschedule. I spent the rest of the day still so full and bloated I couldn't even drink until about 8:00. And now when they reschedule me, I have to do it again, blah!

The bright side is, I lost a pound!
