Aquire a taste for protein?

I've tried several, they all taste yucky. Do you get used to it, or do you just keep trying different kinds? This stuff is expensive, and I know it's important so I'll keep trying to gag it down. Just wondering if you eventually get used to it. :tongue2:

As soon as you are on mushies you can get enough protien from "real food" such as tofu, chicken, eggs, fish, lentils, meat.

What protein shakes have you tried? I really like Boost Diabetic and Carnation Instant Breakfast Sugar Free (blue container). I like others as well, but those are the two I've had most often.

I think they're all disgusting, we have no where near as many varieties here though.

I just dont drink them.

Believe it or not, you can survive without Protein Shakes and without high Protein intakes. My hair hasnt fallen out, I lost all my weight easily, I'm not a muscleless blob and I'm very healthy.

Good to know!!! I plan on making good choices and exercising, increasing intensity when able and I'm hoping to not be a muscleless blob  too. I am worried about my hair falling out, and I'm surprised at how many people do this and don't follow the rules. Eating healthy and exercising. Good to see people like you who did it, and did it right! I'm excited and nervous that it won't work for me. But I plan on making good choices, so it should work. I hope! I really want it too!!!!!
