Low carb and banding? Yippee!!

This may sound strange but I JUST happened on the Low Carb Banders Unite forum on here. Mostly I hang around the general discussion part. I had no idea there were low carb banders.

I am happy to see there are other banders who agree that high protein/low carb WILL work. My fill doctor said, it's not about carbs, fat, etc. it's about calories. I agree to a certain point. However, in the past I've always done really well doing low carb, like a mix of the Atkins and South Beach diets BUT would get discouraged when stalling after the Water weight came off. I know deep inside, that high Protein, low carb is the way to go FOR ME. It keeps my blood sugar steady, which helps with cravings, etc. Somehow I always knew I could stick it out if I had help, which I now have with the band! I am soooo happy! so happy, so happy.... really, you don't even know. We know our own bodies and how can thousands of other low carbers be wrong? I am tickled PINK...
