I was banded on August 21 and am scheduled for my first fill on September 26 (5 weeks post op), is this too early? I spoke with my nurse at the clinic and after telling her how I'm doing, she said it sounds like I need a fill, so I booked one. Just curious if others are getting their fills around this time. I thought we are not physicaly healed until six weeks? Any advice appreciated, thanks :thumbup:

It depends on your doctor - they are all diff - I didn't get my 1st fill till 8 weeks out... But again that's my doctor.. You gotta trust your doctor.

got my first fill exactly 1 month post op....i was then able to go every 2-4wks after that.

Luluc, just wanted to say congrats on your weight loss. It's inspiring! I was just banded Sept. 12th.
