What should I expect?

How did your consult go? Mine was fairly simple, the dreaded weight in, blood pressure, temp. etc. The Dr. gave me a complete run down of the surgery, and what to expect, pros, cons, showed pixs, explained slippage. When I left I didn't have any questions that he didn't already answer.

It went well. My doc reqiures his patient's to attend a 3 hour in house education class on the band before consult, so you go in knowing just about everything there is to know. The consult was basically my chance to ask questions in private and for him to evaluate my expectations... what I want out of it compared to what he thinks is achievable, lucky for me he said my goal of 140 was very achievable if not lower due to my BMI being 41.5 and my age (24).
