Banded yesterday Also!

Wow Kari, you seem to be doing better than I am. I was banded at 12:00 yesterday and I couldn't even imagaine out walking around the block at this point. Its been the roughest 24 hours in my life. I didn't have any gas pain but my port is extremely sore. I can't really bend over or move easily and i'm only walking in small steps. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Just plan on taking it easy. I am 23 days post op and my port area still feels sore. I even tried wearing nylons yet beause it seems like my port incision is right at that line. Best of everything to you!

Chris

You people that get on the computer the day after banding simply amaze me. I was able to get up and walk quite a bit, but the thought of concentrating and getting on-line wasn't something I could handle. I was, however, in Mexico with no computer, but I'm not sure I'd have gotten on the computer if I had one. Just wanted to walk and lay there making grimacing faces at all the swelling and noises coming from me.

Glad to see you on the healthy side with a new band. Good luck :)

Congratulations on being banded!!!! You sound like you are doing quite well. I agree with DeLarla...I had a miserable day after. I woke up feeling like I was half dead and I almost passed out when I got up to go to the bathroom. So, the fact that you are posting and coherent is a very good thing.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery as you start your new journey.
