Port Question

Ok So i went to the beach with my girls today, had a BLAST! It was great. But every time I bent over to pick up the football when we were playing, I could feel my port poking me, felt like it was poking my ribs. Is that ok? Happen to anyone else?

I was banded just a few days before you were and I definitely notice the port whenever I bend over multiple times. It's exactly like you described it: a poke! It doesn't seem to bother me as much as it did even 1 week ago, but perhaps I'm just getting used to the sensation.

banded june 9th have the same thing definetly tell port site and one of my incisions opened up bummer the price to be beautiful your brave going to the beach yu must feel well great

I can feel my port poking me too. My port is right under my ribcage on the left side. When I am sitting at the table studying or even sitting down watching TV it starts to hurt a little like i feel the pressure on my ribs. I asked my Dr.'s Asst. about it and he said its okay.. and once I start losing weight it will start to feel better. So your not alone in this hehehe... Take Care

after about 6-7 weeks I almost thought my port was gone!! One day i just couldnt feel it anymore so have faith it will be okay soon!
