WHEN does the hunger stop?!?

I got banded on July 16, 2008 and have had two fills the first on 8/19 (3 ccs in 8 cc band) and the 2nd on 9/2 (pulled out 3 and put in 4 then pulled out .5 because water wouldn't go down for a total of 3.5 cc in 8 cc band). I don't have much restriction, and I'm hungry within an hour of eating. When does the hunger go away or does it go away? Does the sweet spot mean you get the right restriction so you can't eat much but you still have the all consuming hunger?

i have 2.2 cc's in a 4cc band... i feel restricted but i get hungry not too long after!!!! For instance this morning i had 1 scrambles egg i wasd DONE!!!! about a 1/2 hour later my stomach was growling....im going back on the 8th sooo maybe i need more??? im confused... i have my 1st lapband support group to go to tonight... maybe ill get some answers....

Yeah, chiqui, if your stomach is growling a half hour after having a scrambled egg, then you probably need a fill.

I, however eat 2 scrambled eggs and stay satisfied for about 4 hours. I don't know if just one egg would fill my pouch to satisfy me or not. I am doing fine without another fill, so I won't go get one yet.

I went in last Tuesday to get my 3rd fill. Dr. Spivak thought I might have a leak but when he withdrew the liquid the full 3.5 was in so he gave me another 1 for a total of 4.5. That was a bit too tight so he took out .5 and I now have 4 ccs in an 8 cc band. I definitely feel the difference. I don't think I'm at my "sweet spot" but I get satisfied on less food and the feeling of satiety lasts longer than it did before. I'm due for my TOM next week so I was thinking I'll wait until after that to see how things go. If I am still losing too slow, then I will go back in a couple of weeks.
