I just got off the phone with my insurance company and I was approved for the surgery. I just have to wait for the paperwork in the mail. I started my process in July but because of vacations of various consults I got held up. I am so excited right now. Just wanted to share with someone!!!!!

Keep us informed of your progress, your surgery date, etc...I've been approved by my PCP, have my nutritionists' and psych appts in about 10 days. Hopefully things will move fast for me - I pray that I am approved also...

I'm going to a support group meeting tonight to check the lay of the land, so to speak...will report back!:tt2:

I started in Jjuly too, but put everything on hold to go take care of my mom for a week. I should here from insurance within the week.
