Accountability

Ok, whew, I'm going to do this. I was banded 7/28 ams have lost19 lbs since the surgery. I'm happy with that but I know exercise has to be a part of my "recovery". I'm going to do the couch to 5k starting today sot that i can hopefully run/walk a 5k in october. My sister who's been running for years has said she'll do it with me, but i need to make myself accountable to fellow lapbanders. wish me luck folks, and if anyone feels like joining me I would be so happy.

That's awesome! I recently decided to join a "Beginner's Running" class that starts the end of September. I'm hoping to be able to run a 5k by the end of November.

I wish you the best of luck!!
