If you go to www.coolrunning.com it will explain how it works. You start off jogging small amounts, walking small amounts. The first week you job 60 seconds, walk 90 seconds...week by week you run more than you walk. At the end of 2 months the goal is to run 3 miles..or 5K. Everyone that I've asked about it says that it is very doable.

I have walked the Los Angeles 5K this past March and it was loads of fun. The walking / running program seems workable. If I get the OK from my podiatrist next week then I will certainly join you.

Yes, I would definately be interested! Our town has a 5K run in Sept and I

would like to be able to participate this year.
