Newly Banded

Howdy folks…Well it’s done. I was banded yesterday afternoon at 2:30 PM and was home at 1:30 PM today; my doctors require an overnight stay and I had no problem with that especially since I had the self serve Morphine drip. I am sure my pain would be considerable worse if no for the drugs but all in all I feel pretty well. I was up walking before bed last night and a few times today. I took a nice two and a half hour nap this afternoon and plan on lying low, except for walking, for the next couple of days. I’m not proud; if it hurts I will take the drugs! I wish everyone the best and now the hard work starts….

Welcome to Bandland! Woo Hoo. Keep up with those meds, that will definitely help. Make sure you keep moving and sipping!

Congrats Greg!!!

Hope the pain meds work for you. All the good meds out there make me dizzy so I was stuck with plain ol Tylenol and that didn't help a bit. As a matter of fact, I'm still in pain right over my port area. Good luck Greg. Hope you lose tons and tons of weight... Keep walking, deep breathing and make sure you drink enough...

Congrats to being banded!!! I hope you feel better soon and please take some meds if you are in pain. It is one thing to be sore, but don't be miserable if you can help it. Good job with starting the walking.
