1 year out -98lbs

Tomorrow will be my one year anniversary. Unless I miraculously lose 2 lbs overnight I won't make my goal of 100lbs in one year but I feel really good anyway. The weight has been coming off more slowly now and I dont really think I want to lose much more. Thanks for everyone's support and best of luck to you all!

98 pounds in a year ? Bravo!

Congrats!

I am 1 month post op and have lost 15 pounds total and have yet to have my firist fill, but when I hear success stories like yours, it inspires me! You did an amazing job Karen! WAY TO GO!!!

Wow!! 98 pounds in a year that is an amazing accomplishment you should be so proud! I am waiting to be banded and I hope that I can be as successful. Did you loose weight pre-band or did it all come off after you were banded?

Congratulations!!

I didn't lose any weight before the band. This is all lost since August 8, 2007.

Thanks for sharing your success with us who are waiting to have the band done. It keeps me moving forward and looking forward to my own success.

Contratulations!!!!!

:thumbup:CONGRATS!! for all the days i get discouraged because it seems like its not working or its going slowly, i get on LBT & someone else has been a success! it keeps me going! i can't wait til the day its me talking about my 100lb loss!! keep up the good work!!:)

Congratulations! :) You should be so proud of yourself! Like other posters have stated, successes like yours help us as we face our trials and tribulations.

It can be done - thanks for being the 'proof'.

Congrats and wtg. I think getting within 2 pounds of your goal is close enough for me. I would declare goal but that's just me :tt2:

Absolutely wonderful and keep up the great work.

Karen that is great. Because you took it off slowly, it will make it much easier to keep off. (I think anyway) I have spoken and seen others who have taken that off in 2months with the by-pass surgery and now when you see them they look as if they never had surgery in the first place.

You will reach your goal soon. Now next goal is to keep up the good work that you have accomplished.
