I saw the post on the main board about there finally being an LB procedure that only required one incision instead of multiple (4-6). Has anyone is the DFW area had a doc that did or will do the one incision procedure. It was done for the first time at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas... just wondering who the lucky person was, LOL!

Yes, I know who the Dr is that does the 1 incision lap band procedure. I met him last week, I have chosen him to be my surgeon. He said I am a perfect candidate for this surgery. His name is Dr. Daniel Scott. He told me that he has succesfully completed 12 of the "one incision" lap band procedures since June of this year and chanel 8 news interviewed him the same day of my appointment, it is to air in the near future. He is very nice and has a good bed side manor. He is easy to talk to and answered all my questions. He is at UT Southwestern medical center in Dallas 214-645-2900. Good luck to you.
