I am 30 years old. I had my consult with bariatric surgeon thursday past. I am definitely getting banded and i had my blood work and bariusm swallow done. Next I have to meet with the anasteologist and then a date will be set for last sept or early oct. I hope for as soon as possible. I am 5'1 and 195 pounds. I have high blood pressure and am pre-diabetic. I can't wait to have this done and I have been researching this for several months now. I am Canadian and will self-pay for $14000.

Of course you can join us. We are here to help anyone who needs an ear, a direction or support. As I see it, I may not have the answer, and trust me I usually don't, but some one does and there is lots of support to go around.

Not yet. They are going to call me with an app to see the anasteologist and then set a date for last sept or oct. I hope asap. I want this started, i am excited to finally do something for myself and my health.
