Anyone found a good whey based protein bar?

Hi all,

Plenty of great choices out there for soy Protein bars!

How about whey protein though, anyone found a good one!

Thanks!

There are times when we need a safe meal in our desks/purses/etc. I travel a lot for business and it's just smart to have a ready to eat item in my briefcase.

My surgeon prefers bars to Protein shakes (and the airlines will allow them, too).

I just found out about a whey protein bar called Detour Bar...30 grams of protein, 350 calories, 32 carbs...people say it's chewey and tastes like a candy bar...I haven't tried them yet, but plan too.

I like the Atkins bars. The nougut ones are really good. I bought some at costco called Premiere but they have 300 calories and Atkins only has 160.

Have you tried the south beach bars... also the whey protein bullets are great..they are only 3ounces not sure if that is too much liquid for airlines

The bars by protidiet called protibars are really good. I like the coc peanut butter has 5g fat and 190 cals and 15 g protein.

Thanks for your help!

I have an intolerance for soy Protein isolate (thanks, Medifast)... I have plenty of SoBe and Zone and Clif bars. My DH gobbles them for Breakfast and Snacks frequently.

Lucky guy. I'm hunting for whey protein only.

Looking into the Detour bars. I found another brand called "Whey Better Bars" anyone tried them?

I'd like to find a good Whey protein bar thats low carb and 300 or less calories. My dietitian did recomend the South Beach diet bars. I have the peanut butter chocolate chip ones and they are 100 calories, only 3 grams of fat, and 18 carbs. 3 grams of fiber too.
