Wow, this has all happened so fast! I went for my psych eval today and when I went to check out, they gave me my date! I knew it would be quick once I got approved since my insurance changes on 9/1 and I need to have it done by then but oh my....now the butterflies start! Anyone else being banded that day?

:biggrin:Wow! That is great, congratulations! I go for my psych eval on July 31, hope I am as fortunate as you. I don't think it will go so quickly for me, I still have many appts for all the other things. You will do great!

I'm being banded on the 18 also. Butterflies in full effect here also.

I go on the 12th, I have my preop appointment on the 28th. It's all becoming very real now. I'm scared....not of the surgery, but what if it doesn't work for me, and I fail once again. All those negative thoughts. Reading about what to expect and all the success stories really helps me.

I believe we all have that thought in the back of our minds. We have all tried everything else and even if it did work, the weight always came back. I have heard of ALOT of success stories with the lapband and I'm sure that you and I will be one of them talking about how great it worked for us.
